First facility technician, now information technician: Thomas is working for SPAR since 2008.
He started his career as an in-house technician in the SES Shopping Centres, later he advanced to the central facility management for SES, INTERSPAR and Maximarkt.
After graduating his extra-occupational IT studies in 2017, transferring to SPAR ICS was the next logical step.
I started as an in-house technician in two of the SES Shopping Centres in Salzburg. After 3 years, I transferred to the facility management department of the SES headquarters and became the first contact for all SES Shopping Centres, INTERSPAR and Maximarkt for the departments of electronics, security and IT. Alongside, I studied IT.

After many years in IT PMO as Project and Domain Portfolio Manager, where I was responsible for all IT infrastructure, facility, retail and innovation topics handled in projects, I switched to the "operations corner" as Global Service Owner. Currently, my international squad and I are responsible for the smooth and sustainable operation of the international SPAR network in the area of "Network Technologies" services.
When running projects, I put emphasis on clearly defined aims, a practical approach, an efficient and cost-sensitive working process and the staffing of the “right” team members and, of course, the quality guarantee and quick delivery of our customer products.
It’s hard to define an exact day.

His detailed knowledge of the company and all brands, and his private interest for innovations in the IT sector make him a SPAR ICS allrounder.
