Two of our teams recently gained new Team Leads. Who they are and what challenges they will face with their team in the second half of the year can be read here:
Ursula Schoberleithner, will manage all agendas of the Retail Technology team in the future. She started her career at SPAR ICS in 2018 in the Store Retail team and was able to gain valuable experience in the retail sector. With her team, she focuses on new technologies in retail and ensures that the requirements of our colleagues in the shops are implemented with the optimal IT hardware.
As a lead, open communication is very important to her. This is exactly what she would recommend to new team leaders in order to be able to pick up on different perspectives.
Medina Aganovic, Teamlead Workplace Client, is responsible for more than 14,000 clients with her team. Medina started as IT Project Manager at SPAR ICS in 2020 and was among others responsible for the A1 Next Generation project.
Now she is taking on the challenge as the new team leader. She ensures the smooth running of the project through a transparent and direct workflow in the team.
Medina recommends to new leaders:
- Never give up.
- Saying no is also okay, instead of always saying yes.
- Set your goals higher than you think you are capable of.
