Our cross-national virtual team got a new team leader this year. The sporty hobby musician, Stefan Krassnig, leads the virtual team Warehouse and Logistics Support in the international area. The team is distributed across all SPAR countries and should become even closer in the future.
The main task is the technical lead. In addition, he acts as a hub in terms of support between the specialist departments, ICS Logistics & Manufacturing, the suppliers and other stakeholders.
With the vision "stronger internationalization of the team and standardization of support processes both with suppliers and internally" he will face all challenges in 2021. In doing so, he is making his employees fit to take over and lead projects.
"Our team is made up of members who have known each other for a number of years and there is simply good chemistry among us. I think we always find solutions bilaterally and we can also rely on each other's word. I'm lucky to be able to lead a team that is characterized by a high degree of personal responsibility, initiative and, of course, professional know-how."
