SPAR ICS is fit for the future challenges of the digital age. The most important asset here are the employees, who contribute significantly to the success of the company with their know-how and commitment. The latest example of this is Michael Kastinger. The native Vöcklabrucker (Upper Austria) is a recently certified Google Professional Cloud Architect - and the first among the Google customers in Austria. Kastinger recently completed his five-month training highly successfully.

Trade is change: Fit for digitalization with innovative training

Michael Kastinger is a trained computer scientist and started his career at SPAR ICS in 2005 as a support staff. After working as a team and department manager, the 33-year-old IT specialist at SPAR ICS is now dealing with technical topics relating to digitization with a focus on cloud computing. With his newly acquired know-how, he and his team support projects throughout Europe for the SPAR Austria Group. Working closely with Google, his work is dedicated to digital transformation and the use of the latest IT delivery models. The goal is to make the services even more innovative and effective. And privately, Michael Kastinger also proves his ambition and determination: in 2012 and 2013 he won the Austrian championship title in a cycling marathon.
