SPAR Business Services GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "SPAR ICS" or "we") is the controller (Article 4(7) of the General Data Protection Regulation or "GDPR") with regard to the data processing associated with use of the website Our contact details may be found at the end of this Notice.

Wenn wir im Zusammenhang mit den einzelnen Datenverarbeitungen zusätzliche Auftragsverarbeiter einsetzen, wird auf diese nachstehend in der jeweiligen Information hingewiesen.


Description of processing activities

Personal data may be processed in various ways in the context of using the website. The following sets out further information in this regard.

Contact enquiries by means of e-mail or telephone

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we shall record and process your name and contact details as well as the matter notified by you and, where relevant, the data which you additionally provide to us. The purpose of data processing is to respond to your contact enquiry ("Customer Service Management").


Legal basis

Data processing is undertaken in order to undertake steps necessary either prior to entering into a contract or for the performance of a contract (Article 6(b) GDPR) or on the basis of the legitimate interest of SPAR ICS in communication with website users (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).



SPAR ICS shall erase/anonymise your personal data as soon as they are no longer required for achieving the purposes for which they were collected and processed, and provided no other legal duties necessitate continued storage. Duties to provide documentary evidence and retain records arise in particular under business enterprise law, stock corporation law and tax law, as well as money-laundering regulations. In addition, SPAR ICS retains personal data required for the assertion and defence of legal claims and enforcement of such claims in official or judicial proceedings. In this regard, data are retained until expiry of the respectively-relevant limitation periods/until non-appealable conclusion of proceedings.

Nature and scope of data processing 

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files stored in a web browser or by a web browser on a user's computer system. If a user visits a website, a cookie may be stored on the user's operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string enabling unique identification of the browser when revisiting the website in question.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some elements of our website require that the requesting browser can be identified also after a page change.

In this context, the following data are stored and transmitted in cookies:

The purpose of using essential cookies is to simplify website use for users. A number of functions on our website cannot be provided without the use of cookies. For these, it is necessary for the browser to be recognised also after a page change.

The user data collected through essential cookies are not used to generate user profiles.

Use of analytics cookies is for the purpose of improving the quality of our website and its content. Through analytics cookies, we learn how the website is used and, in this way, can continually optimise our website provision.

Each time you use our website, we collect the data which your browser transmits to our server. This consists of the following:

  • Quantity of data transferred in each instance
  • The website from which the request originates

The collection and processing of this data serves to enable the user to use the website.


Legal basis

The legal basis for such data processing consists of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data processing is technically necessary in order to enable you to use the website and to ensure the website's stability and security.



We store performance measurement data for a period of 26 months, following which such data are anonymised.


Information on legal remedies 

You have a right of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16 GDPR), erasure (Article 17 GDPR), a right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), to data portability (Article 20 GDPR) and a right of objection (Article 21 GDPR). In order to assert your rights as listed above, please contact SPAR ICS.

In so far as data processing is based on your consent, you may revoke such consent at any time. The lawfulness of processing which shall have taken place based on your consent up to the time of revocation shall however not be affected by revocation of consent on your part. In order to declare such revocation, please contact SPAR ICS (for contact details, see below).

If you believe that processing of your personal data is in breach of the GDPR, please do not hesitate to let us know your concerns (for contact details, see below). In addition, in such instance, you have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 

Bewerbermanagement („Jobbörse“)

The personal data transmitted or uploaded by you via the website or sent by e-mail will be processed by the SPAR Austria Group company to which you have applied for the purpose of corresponding with you and processing your application. The relevant group companies of the SPAR Austria Group (hereinafter "we", "us", "SPAR" or "controller") are listed below. In addition, if you have given your consent, your personal data will be processed for the purpose stated in the respective consent and forwarded to the SPAR Austria Group companies in Austria listed below for this purpose.

If you have given your consent by ticking the checkbox in the declaration of consent, this privacy policy also applies mutatis mutandis to the following group companies:

Die Verarbeitung Ihrer Daten ist zur Bearbeitung Ihrer Bewerbung gemäß Art 6 Abs 1 lit b der der EU-Datenschutzgrundverordnung - VO 2016/679 (in der Folge „DSGVO“; vorvertragliches Verhältnis) erforderlich. Darüber hinaus werden Ihre Daten gegebenenfalls Basis der von Ihnen erteilten Einwilligung gemäß Art. 6 Abs. 1. lit a DSGVO zu den in der jeweiligen Einwilligung genannten Zwecken verarbeitet. 



Die Aufbewahrung der Daten in personenbezogener Form erfolgt nur solange dies für die Erreichung der oben genannten Zwecke erforderlich ist. Für die Zwecke der Bearbeitung Ihrer Bewerbung speichert SPAR ICS Ihre personenbezogenen Daten maximal 8 Monate nach Ende Ihres Bewerbungsverfahrens (Absage Ihrer Bewerbung), sofern eine weitere Aufbewahrung nicht im konkreten Fall erforderlich ist. Auch die Konzernunternehmen speichern Ihre Daten für diese Dauer, sofern Sie Ihre Einwilligung zur Weiterleitung der Daten an diese erteilt haben.

Wenn Sie Ihre Zustimmung zur Evidenzhaltung Ihrer Daten erteilt haben, werden Ihre Daten darüber hinaus weitere 28 Monate von den Konzernunternehmen in Evidenz gehalten, damit wir Sie kontaktieren können, falls es weitere Stellenangebote im Konzern gibt, die für Sie von Interesse sein könnten.



Für die technische und administrative Abwicklung der Verarbeitung Ihrer Daten zieht der Verantwortliche die SPAR Business Services GmbH und die Infoniqa HR Solutions GmbH als Auftragsverarbeiter heran. Sofern Sie sich nicht bei der SPAR Österreichische Warenhandels-AG bewerben, wird auch diese als Auftragsverarbeiter eingesetzt.

Sofern Sie uns Ihre Einwilligung durch Ankreuzen der entsprechenden Checkbox erteilen, geben wir Ihre Daten an die angeführten Konzerngesellschaften weiter, damit auch diese Ihre Daten zu den vereinbarten Zwecken verarbeiten können.

Ansonsten werden Ihre Daten an keine Dritten weitergegeben.



Die von Ihnen erteilten Einwilligungen zur Verarbeitung Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten können jederzeit durch E-Mail an [email protected] oder auf dem Postweg an SPAR Österreichische Warenhandels-AG, z.H. Bewerbungsmanagement SPAR Österreich Gruppe Europastraße 3, 5015 Salzburg widerrufen werden. Hierdurch wird die Rechtmäßigkeit einer aufgrund der Einwilligung bis zum Widerruf erfolgten Verarbeitung und Weiterleitung jedoch nicht berührt. Falls Sie Ihre Einwilligung widerrufen, werden Ihre Daten nicht mehr an die Konzernunternehmen übermittelt. Eine Speicherung erfolgt in diesem Fall nur noch für bis zu 8 Monaten nach Ende Ihres Bewerbungsverfahrens (Absage Ihrer Bewerbung); darüber hinaus werden Ihre Daten von den Konzernunternehmen nicht in Evidenz gehalten.

Ihnen steht ein Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15 DSGVO), Berichtigung (Art. 16 DSGVO), Löschung (Art. 17 DSGVO), Einschränkung (ab 25.05.2018, Art. 18 DSGVO), Datenübertragbarkeit (ab 25.05.2018, Art 20 DSGVO) und Widerspruch (Art. 21 DSGVO) gegen die Verarbeitung Ihrer personenbezogenen Daten gegenüber SPAR zu. Sofern Sie in die Weiterleitung oder Evidenzhaltung Ihrer Daten durch die Konzernunternehmen eingewilligt haben, stehen Ihnen diese Recht auch gegenüber diesen Unternehmen zu.

Es steht Ihnen zusätzlich ein Recht auf Einschränkung der Verarbeitung und Datenübertragbarkeit gegenüber SPAR zu. Zur Geltendmachung Ihrer vorstehend angeführten Rechte wenden Sie sich bitte schriftlich per E-Mail an [email protected] oder auf dem Postweg an, SPAR Österreichische Warenhandels-AG, z.H. Wenn Sie der Ansicht sind, dass die Verarbeitung der Sie betreffenden personenbezogenen Daten gegen die DSGVO verstößt, zögern Sie bitte nicht, uns Ihre Bedenken mitzuteilen (Kontaktdaten siehe unten). Zusätzlich steht Ihnen in solchen Fällen ein Recht auf Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde zu.
