Miha Bočkor
is responsible for the video surveillance systems in all stores and the headquarter, also for IT support for software in the bakery, Windows, Linux servers and support for users in the HQ. He is proud to be a part of SPAR ICS – “together we all have a big responsibility to use the available technology to address business challenges, eliminate problem areas and seize opportunities. Therefore, the slogan “We create retail future”, means to me that Spar ICS is constantly developing, creating and improving IT services for our employees and customers”.

Especially in international collaboration, this is a relevant key for Miha. Trust and a clear common goal form the foundation of any successful teamwork – being able to rely on each other and having the same shared vision is the most important thing in achieving the desired goal. Miha is also member of one of our international peer groups, which he values highly, because it gives him the opportunity to work with a variety of IT experts from different countries. In addition, being involved in a peer group can help one develop more effective ways of communicating, working and solving problems. “More people know more – communicating with international colleagues allows me to perceive many perspectives on a given situation and helps me to get a more comprehensive picture”.

The Covid Pandemy showed how quickly massive change and innovation can occur. Nevertheless, SPAR ICS has effectively and efficiently supported day-to-day business in most challenging and difficult times. For this reason, Miha sees SPAR ICS as a company with a sustainable and innovative vision – “by ensuring consistent innovation, optimizing IT services for the best possible user experience and focusing on finding and creating sustainable solutions.”
