Carlo Saravalle has been part of SPAR ICS since 2008. Born in Padua, he started as a programmer, later specializing in middleware, Oracle databases, and data centers. A key milestone in his career was introducing WAMAS in Italy, which brought him closer to logistics and business operations.
What he values most in his job is the chance to work with cutting-edge technology and top experts from different fields. His biggest lesson: Growth comes from embracing challenges and different perspectives.

Andrea Friembichler has been part of SPAR ICS since 1991 – originally planning a short-term job, but IT never let her go. Through a connection between her IT teacher and the then IT manager, she joined the company right after business school.
Over the years, she has held various roles – from software developer to project manager – and played a key role in the development of the WAMAS logistics software. She thrives in international collaboration and enjoys the challenge of constantly evolving tasks.

René Elsässer has been part of SPAR ICS since 2006 – today, he is a true IMAge expert. He initially wanted to work in game development, but a tip from a fellow student led him into the world of IT at SPAR.
Starting in IT support, he quickly transitioned to application management, where he played a key role in the rollout of the IMAge merchandise management system. His biggest career step was taking over the IMAge Application Service, where he now focuses on complex IT systems and performance optimization.

Ales Keber has been part of SPAR ICS since 2003, growing from an Application Manager into a key figure in SPAR’s IT and logistics world. Initially a freelancer in Linux administration and web design, he discovered his passion for modern warehouse processes.
From driving major IT migrations to leading the development of the SPAR Plus app, every step in his career has been a chance to learn. What shaped him the most? International collaboration. "This is an experience you can't learn from books, only from working with people from different countries and industries."
